This is an incredible book, written by a highly experienced cardiologist Dr Stephen Sinatra, and his wife Jan, who is an experienced nurse. It offers all the guidelines you will ever need to lower your blood pressure in just eight weeks or less. Dr Sinatra recognizes that people with high blood pressure hear the same old tired advice from their doctors – lose weight, eat less salt, and take medication. He has set out to revolutionize this age old advice and make it work for the modern lifestyle.

In his eight week plan, Sinatra makes you think carefully about your lifestyle, medical history and any special needs – then using his plan he explains how you can dramatically reduce your blood pressure – even to the point that you can reduce or stop taking medication. Despite being a doctor, he does not necessarily agree that taking drugs for high blood pressure is the best option for most people – he advocates a more natural approach.
